BUCKCHERRY Comments On New Song 'Leak'
July 3, 2008California rockers BUCKCHERRY have issued the following update:
"We're out on the road again, and just played a killer first show on Crüe Fest 2008 in West Palm Beach, Florida!
"It's come to our attention that one of the tracks off our new album has leaked out on the net. Honestly, we hate it when this shit happens, because we want our FANS to have any new songs first.
"Here is the link to officially find the song 'Too Drunk...'. We're gonna go try and find time over the next few days to make a down and dirty video for it.
"Enjoy the new song and we're looking forward to putting out the new album in a couple of months!"
"Too Drunk..." is expected to appear on the group's forthcoming album, "Black Butterfly", which is tentatively due on September 23. The Japanese version of the CD — the artwork for which can be viewed below — will apparently arrive on August 27.
BUCKCHERRY released "15" just over two years ago, beginning a comeback that saw the band play 300 shows, sell over one million copies of the record, and earn five hit singles after being all but defunct five years ago.
Crüe Fest will hit over 40 cities, closing out on August 31 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In addition to the CRÜE and BUCKCHERRY, the lineup features PAPA ROACH, TRAPT and CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx's side project, SIXX: A.M.
